Granola MCP and Claude skills

Read your Granola meeting notes, summaries and transcripts, and post the action items and decisions from the day's meetings with who owns each one.

Connect Granola to your agent (MCP)

  1. Granola MCP server, Granola's official remote server at https://mcp.granola.ai/mcp, signed in through the browser with OAuth. In Claude, connect Granola from Settings > Connectors. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add granola --transport http https://mcp.granola.ai/mcp, then /mcp and Authenticate. Codex, Cursor and other clients can add the same URL if they support Streamable HTTP and OAuth discovery (docs).
  2. No API key route. The MCP server has no API key or service account option, so a scheduled skill runs in a client where you have already signed in to Granola. It allows about 100 requests a minute across tools.

The server only reads; on Enterprise, admins decide which notes members can expose to AI tools and can turn transcripts off for the whole workspace while leaving summaries available.

What agents do with Granola

Granola keeps AI-enhanced notes for every meeting: the summary and your notes, the attendees, the calendar event it came from, and on paid plans the full transcript and folders. Agents reach them through Granola's MCP server: list_meetings (filterable by folder on paid plans), get_meetings for notes, attendees and summaries, get_meeting_transcript for the raw transcript (paid plans), list_meeting_folders, and query_granola_meetings for a plain-language question across your notes. The free Basic plan covers your own notes from the last 30 days, Business adds notes shared with you, and on Enterprise, admins choose which notes members can reach.

People schedule an end-of-day list of action items from today's meetings grouped by owner, a weekly digest of decisions from a project's meetings, follow-ups promised to customers that still need an email, and a brief before tomorrow's meetings that recalls what was said last time with the same people.
