Claude scheduled task examples you can copy
Every skill in the library runs on a schedule. Pick one, run it once by hand, then give it a time: cron, a Claude Code routine, a scheduled task in the Claude app, or a GitHub Action.
Three ways to put a skill on a schedule
Cron, on any machine
Where your agent is signed in. The five fields are minute, hour, day of month, month and day of week.
crontab0 9 * * 1 claude -p "Run the google-search-console-weekly-keyword-report skill"Codex: codex exec "Run the google-search-console-weekly-keyword-report skill"
Routines and scheduled tasks
Claude Code routines run a prompt on a schedule in the cloud, and the Claude app has scheduled tasks for Cowork. Give either the same prompt: Run the google-search-console-weekly-keyword-report skill. Add BRIEFKIN_TOKEN to the environment so it can post the card.
GitHub Actions
Free for public repos and cheap for private ones. Store the keys as repository secrets.

What is a Claude scheduled task?
A prompt or a skill your agent runs by itself at set times, without you opening a chat. Claude Code can run one from cron with claude -p, as a routine in the cloud, or as a scheduled task in the Claude app. Codex does the same with codex exec.
Do these examples need a server?
No. A laptop that is awake at the scheduled time is enough for cron, and routines and GitHub Actions run in the cloud. Run each skill once by hand first, so you know it has the access it needs.
Where do the results go?
With no setup, into the run's output. With a BRIEFKIN_TOKEN set, every run posts one card to your Briefkin board and updates the same card next time, so a week of runs is one card with a trend, not a pile of messages.
Scheduled runs, one board, a ping only when it is your turn
Skills are free to use with any agent. Briefkin is where their results land: one board for every report, number and question your agents send, with a ping when something needs you.
Free during the open beta. No card.
