What you get

Claude Code on Telegram, done properly

  • Answer from the chat

Tap one of the options under the message, or reply to it in your own words. The agent reads your answer and carries on.

  • Only when it’s your turn

Questions, approvals and sessions that stopped for you send a message. Progress and finished work stay quietly on the board, so the chat never turns into noise.

  • Every session in one chat

Every terminal, computer and cloud session sends to the same chat, each message named after its project, so you always know which one is asking.

  • Codex and Cursor too

The installer sets up Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, OpenCode, Windsurf and Amp, and they all reach the same Telegram chat.

  • Your code stays put

Hooks send short status lines, never your code or files. Your “What gets sent” rules apply before anything leaves the computer.

  • Not on Telegram?

Web push on your phone and email work the same way, and the board opens in any browser.

Setup

One minute, one command

  1. Sign in with GitHub

  3. Connect Telegram

Settings, Connect Telegram, then press Start in the bot chat. The next question from an agent arrives there.

Questions

Short answers

Can Claude Code send Telegram messages by itself?

Not out of the box. Its Notification hook can run any command, so you can call the Telegram Bot API from a script. Briefkin does that for you on every computer, and adds answering back and a board.

Can I answer Claude Code from Telegram?

Yes, for anything an agent asks through Briefkin: tap an option or reply to the message, and the agent reads the answer and carries on. A permission prompt has to be answered in the session itself, so its message links there.

Do I need to create a bot or a token?

No. Press Connect Telegram in Settings and then Start in the bot chat. Nothing to host and no token to copy.

Will it spam me?

Only cards that need you send a message: a question, an approval, or a session that stopped for you. A permission prompt waits a minute first, and if you answer it at the keyboard the message is never sent.

What does it cost?

Briefkin is free during the open beta. Beta users keep a $96 a year founding price when paid plans start.
